Conference weekend

This is the love of my life and I enjoying a tasty ice cream treat in Salt Lake City. We met up with my family for conference and then kicked back for the rest of the weekend. It was a nice little impromptu trip.

Boise Family Reunion 2009

This is me and my lovely family (which seems to be getting bigger and bigger!) enjoying a meal at the Old Spag in Boise. We got together the first weekend of March to celebrate the blessing of my new nephew, Beck! We had a blast.

Our first blog! (you're welcome Kathryn!)

Hooray! Elizabeth FINALLY started the blog that she promised to Kathryn months ago! I suppose I should update everybody on our life. Alex and I moved to Portland in April and we LOVE this area! Alex is the Banquet Manager at the Marriott City Center hotel and I am the General Manager of the Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel, both in Portland. We live in a suburb called Beaverton, which we really like as well. It's kind of like Meridian, but with more stuff. :) When we're not working, we spend most of our time hanging out at the house (Guitar Hero, anyone?) or hanging out with our good friends (and culprits for talking us into moving here ) Jason and Jessica (who just got married on August 1st- that's a picture of us at their wedding). Overall life is good, we're just waiting for our friends and family to come visit us and see how cool this city really is!
